'You listen to me; I have a lot to say!' - LH

HIGH NEEDS GROUP - Key Stage 3

SMALL GROUP TEACHING

Hopefields staff have a proven track record of quality and meaningful work, engaging children and young people of all ages. Hopefields specialise in engaging young people with medical needs, anxiety and phobic behaviours towards school/education.

Students learn and engage with a formal curriculum, taught by specialist staff and have Occupational Therapy, a Forest School curriculum and Therapeutic interventions as part of their core offer.

Skilled intervention in lego therapy, phonics and equine facilitated learning are all included for all children, where this would benefit.

A SENSORY CURRICULUM

Examinations in GCSE, Functional Skills and Vocational subjects are offered, in outcome focused and outcome led tuition sessions, dependent on need.

Hopefields and The Montana Project offer 1:1 and small group sessions using our animals and farmland to create meaningful outcomes and improve mental health.

Time in the sensory room is key - students enjoy a 'hands on' approach to learning and preparation for adulthood with a high staff ratio.

'students readily engage with learning' - ofsted, 2023
