Our careers provision at Hopefields aims to support and empower all students on their pathway to adulthood.
We are committed to raising aspirations and enabling all our students to create brilliant futures and undertake meaningful employment and life options which are economically viable.
Our overarching aim is to help students make confident, impartial and make informed choices about their future career options and what is realistically available for them to succeed, providing purpose, direction and opportunities to all our students.
We fully endorse the Gatsby Benchmarks and use them to guide, plan and monitor the effectiveness of the careers education at Hopefields which is regularly reviewed and improved by our careers lead and senior leadership team. We are fully committed to informing our students, parents and carers of the full range of learning and training pathways on offer to them in an unbiased and reflective capacity.
Throughout the year we welcome visits and workshops from training, apprenticeship, colleges, current careers representatives and providers, who speak to our students during JoinUp and lesson time. We offer parental sessions periodically where we discuss and explain the local offers and availability across the Tees Valley and beyond.
